 About Molybdenum

The high melting of 2620 °C as well as its high-temperature strength allow the application of  Mo at 
temperature up to 1900°C. Because of the high mechnical stability at high temperature molybdenum 
and its alloy are widely used.

Characteristic:
       High melting temperature
       Low thermal expansion 
       Good thermal conductivity
       Low vapour pressure

3、Mo-W alloy
The alloy of Mo-W(especially Mo70W30) have good corrosion resistance against molten Zinc,(Sodium,
Calium, magnesium).it have some advantages to pure Molybdenum,such as high recrystallization temperature,
better corrosion resistance against molten zinc,higher strength .it also have some advantages compare to pure 
tungsten, such as good formability and lower density.

components for the plating zinic furnace
stirrers for the glass industry etc.
